Welcome my name is Andrew , I live in Alvaston near Derby in the East Midlands . I use a wheelchair as i have Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy ( muscle wasting disease to you ) and i am also a Diabetic . I walked until i was ten years old . Live at home with my mum as my dad is deceased , have two brothers , Kevin and Stuart and two sisters , Karen and Yvonne , my brothers have recently retired from the Royal Army Medical Corp (R.A.M.C) my dad was also a medic . I employ my sister Karen as my full time carer , I lost my other sister Yvonne in March 05 , who died after a fall .

While being part of an Army upbringing i was born in Singapore , where we lived for three years , then my dad got posted to Hong Kong and we were there three years too . Eventually we ended up settling in Derby , why i'll never know !

I spend most of my time using the internet , reading , watching my DVD's , Sky TV or going out , when there is somewhere to go , which usually is the cinema or hospital appointments , recently been diagnosed with having Diabetes , so now insulin dependent .

Things i enjoy studying are Chiroptera ( Bats ) and Cosmology ( The study of the origin , current state , and future of our Universe ) , and i follow quite a few sports as i am an Arsenal FC , Newcastle Falcons , Wigan Warriors , Hampshire CCC and Formula One fan . Love to read books by Anne Rice , Les Daniels and Nancy Baker . Science is a major passion as i am wanting to learn all i can , people should never stop learning , these things fuel my mind and stimulate my imagination . Very experienced with my PC , I'm one of those who does know what he is doing , as hackers and idiots with viruses have found out to their cost , also like to dabble in Web Design , when not playing a few games i enjoy on my PC , PS2 or Xbox .
