I’ve been dancing since I was three! Ask anyone in my family,and they will tell you, "Emi" was always the little dancer of the family, Like Her Mother! She didn’t then or now, need any provocation to jump on the dance floor and shake her booty ! It's a wonderful opportunity to meet so many different and really nice people. A great reason to dress up and wear all your pretty clothes. And most importantly, for me I think,it’s the greatest way I can express myself. When I dance Salsa, especially with a great partner,I let loose all of who I am. What I express when I’m dancing is the real ME. It’s the sexy, passionate, goddess within that I have to keep under wraps, to some degree during a normal working day. I am a soul lover and a person who finds music and dance great therapy! My Father plays Sax ~ My Mother was a Tap dancer I was rised with Jazz~Blues~ Tamla Motown ~Reggae~and Calypso music I am a child of soul music, you can move me from Jill Scott, Beyonce, Truth Hurts, Macy Gray, Lizz Fields, Terri Walker, Angie Stone, Mary j Blige, Erykah Badu, Jahzarah, Mica Paris, Gorpele, Ledisi, Rhian Benson, AND if you feel like some Marc Anthony~Coldplay~ Yanni~ Santana~ or Ornette Coleman, drop it in somewhere and I will dance. That's my spirit My Friends Are the people that touch my heart.....I can spend hours with them doing nothing at all.. and it can be the best time of my life, just becuase it was with them. They're the people I can cry with, laugh with, and just have fun with. They don't judge me or make me change. They accept me exactly as I am. They look at me and they see a great person, one they love spending time with. we all share something in common and are tied together by memories, tears, laughs and smiles. and love for the other. Friendship is the strangest but greatest thing in the world. I find my time with my friends, the best times of my life. My friends are my heart, my soul, my fun, my laughter, tears, love and my life.Friends love unconditionally. They may have there little angry moments but what's done is done and all is forgive and forget friends are forever. love them that much more for being just a little bit different and maybe just a little bit quirky!
