Comments:   Well at some point i will get round to updating these pages!  Still looking for inspiration for  a new theme for the additional pages! I'm tempted to focus on canals, especially as one of my favourite programs Waterworld is back on Central TV! I am married to a chef called Terry.  We were married in October 1997 and even our wedding had a "canal theme"  We were married at Birmingham Registry office and then the whole wedding party walked along the canal in Brindley Place Birmingham where we had some photos done and then we all went for continental breakfast at a canal side pub called The Brasshouse.  We left all the guests to explore Birmingham and the canal network at lunchtime and then went out in the evening, just the two of us to a Cantonese restaurant also adjacent to the canal!   A most relaxed and stress free time! I work for the NHS, my clinical speciality is working with older people who have dementia which is often challenging and sometimes very rewarding.  I am also undertaking an MSc in Ageing and Mental Health as a part time student at a local university, it really is hard work to get back into studying after so long away from formal education and at the moment i'm afraid it is tending to dominate my life somewhat, a very steep learning curve, hopefully things will settle down in the next semester and when the weather improves we can start to revisit some of our former interests! When I'm not working or studying  I enjoy visiting historical places, social history, anything to do with canals, wildlife, gardening in kinder weather, photography, reading, Dilbert cartoons, good wine and food and music, especially some of Tori Amos' stuff.
