Here I hope to help you get the most from the Chatroom and from mIRC.

Downloading:-

To get mIRC Feesch, download the following file: mircfeesch.zip (click [Save]).

Next you should see this window, as you may notice i have told it to save it to my desktop this is so i know where to find it, it can always be moved later, then click [Save] once more.

Once it has downloaded it should look something like this:-

It's a zip file, if you right click on it you will get the option to [Extract to..] as long as you have winzip installed, this is the best option as you will know where it is extracting itself too. If you don't have that option just double left click it and it will auto extract.

Once extracted it will create a folder called MircFeesch, open the folder and find mirc.exe, double left clicking this will start mIRC.

When it starts up it may ask you to register, You don't have to register it right away as it is free to use for 30 days, just wait a second and click the continue button. Next you will see this window:-

Put in a name, e-mail address and choose a Nickname and an alternate Nickname (you don't have to put your full name or even a real e-mail address, you do need to enter a second Nickname as someone in the room may already have your nick and you can't join if they do)

Then click [Connect To Server] You should now join the Feesch chatserver and the main room #Feesch_General.

Fun Stuff.

You may have seen people in the chatroom slapping each other with various objects, well mIRCFeesch has a few slaps built in, left click on someone's name in the nicklist on the right hand side of the window, this will highlight their name, then right click on their name and it will open a menu, move your mouse down to Fun and a list will open, select Slap or Banana and it will slap the highlighted person with either a trout or a banana.. hehe

You may notice i have a larger selection of items to play with in my Fun list, this is because i added more, this can be done by holding Alt and pressing p (mIRC must be open for this and be the highlighted window) A box will then open as bellow and you can edit it however you like, but make sure each line has the same syntax as the line above it...

Wav Player.

You may or may not have seen people playing sounds in the chatroom, well if you would like to be able to hear any sounds that are played you will first have to turn your Wav Grabber on. This is quite easy to do, just right click in the chatroom window and you will see the menu bellow, click where it says "Grab Wav's [off]" and it will turn it on...

If you then want to be able to send your sounds to others you must also turn "Send Wav's [on]". To play a sound simply click "Play [Local]" to listen to a sound just on your own machine or "Play [Public]" to play it in the chatroom for anyone to hear it... Just select the sound you want from the menu and click [Open]
