Attending Feesch Parties

What do you need to know? Not a lot really. You need to know the location of the venue and the date and time the party takes place. Now that sounds fairly obvious, but people have got it wrong before. The most notably perhaps, when a couple signed up for the Jersey bash a few days after we got back from the Jersey Bash, talk about missing the boat!

Secondly, you need to know how to find the group. Tradition suggests a helium balloon or two, usually a smiley or a fish. Also, look for me, I'll be the funny looking geek in the very shiny shirt, unless it's fancy dress in which case, who knows what I'll look like. If you can't see me, look for the organiser.

Next, introduce yourself, I don't think you need any help with that bit?

Then chat to people, buy them drinks (especially if they are wearing a shiny shirt) and generally try to enjoy yourself. The more you join in, the more fun you'll have.

What goes on? Well that depends on the venue and the people who turn up. Most parties tend to be held in Premier Travel Inns these days, where you can expect to be sitting around tables drinking and chatting.

After the pub closes, there may be some after party party in someone's hotel room, but it's not guaranteed. What happens there is a total mystery as it's never been documented. Well, maybe hinted at a little on the rumours board....
